Overview
Newtons Tech LLC ("we", "us") builds websites and custom web apps for small businesses, hosts and maintains them on monthly Care Plans, and takes on hourly work for existing sites. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Project Work (Website Packages, Custom Web Apps, Standalone Builds)
Project work covers our Starter, Business, and Custom Website packages, Custom Web Apps, and Standalone Website builds. Projects begin once the quote is signed and the deposit is received.
If you cancel a signed quote before any work has started, your deposit is refundable minus a $250 administrative fee. Once work has begun, deposits and completed milestones are non-refundable. Final balance payments are non-refundable once the project has been delivered.
Care Plans and Web App Support (Recurring)
Care Plans and Web App Support tiers can be cancelled at any time. Partial-month refunds are not issued. Your service stays active through the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and we'll help you migrate hosting, DNS, and content if you decide to move on.
Hourly Support
Hourly Support is billed in advance. Hours that have already been worked are non-refundable. Unused hours from a block can be refunded within 30 days of the original charge.
Refund Window
Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original charge.
How to Request a Refund
Email billing@newtonstech.com with your invoice number, the charge date, and a short note on what you'd like refunded. We respond to refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
Disputes and Chargebacks
If a charge looks wrong, or something on a project hasn't gone the way you expected, please reach out first. We'd much rather sort it out with you directly, and in nearly every case we can resolve it the same week. Filing a chargeback before contacting us can pause active services while your bank investigates.
